Carbon steel threaded flanges are primarily composed of iron with carbon content ranging from 0.05% to 0.25%, along with small amounts of manganese, silicon, and trace elements like sulfur and phosphorus. These flanges exhibit excellent mechanical properties, including high tensile strength (400–550 MPa), good yield strength, and superior hardness, making them suitable for high-pressure applications. Physically, carbon steel has a density of approximately 7.85 g/cm³, a melting point around 1425–1540°C, and excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, ensuring durability and reliable performance in industrial environments.
