Alloy 20 flanges consist of a nickel-iron-chromium alloy containing about 3238% nickel, 1921% chromium, 23 copper and traces of manganese, silicon and carbon. This composition offers the highest level of corrosion resistance particularly against nitric and sulfuric acids. In mechanical terms, Alloy 20 flanges have tensile strength of 550 750 Mpa and yield strength of 240 410 Mpa and elongation of 30 40 percent and thus can withstand stress. They are physically dense 8.1g/cm 3 and have high thermal conductivity which consider them applicable in high temperature and corrosive industrial settings.
