Hastelloy Flat Flanges are made of nickel (more than 50%) and have significant quantities of molybdenum, iron, and small amounts of trace elements such as copper and cobalt. This makes Hastelloy Flanges highly resistant to corrosion. They exhibit excellent mechanical characteristics such as high tensile strength, toughness, as well as resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and oxidation in harsh chemical conditions. Hastelloy Flanges typically have a yield strength of 35–55 ksi and hardness level of about 200–250 HB. This enables durability under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions.
