Super Duplex Steel Ring Type Joint (RTJ) Flanges are made of approximately 25% chromium, 4% nickel and 3.5% molybdenum along with other elements like nitrogen and tungsten to make them stronger and more resistant to corrosion. The content makes them effectively resistant to pitting crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Mechanically the flanges possess high tensile strength typically around 800 MPa and very good yield strength, which qualifies them for high-temperature high-pressure application. Their long-lasting nature, even in harsh environments, ensures consistent performance in applications like oil and gas, petrochemical and marine operations.
